A little bit of my heart broke today...I am so excited for B to be going off to school, but today I was sad (I promised myself I wouldn't cry and I didn't). My baby started kindergarten. Summer went by quick, I don't know where the time went. I had grand plans for day trips. But it seemed like when the days came I was exhausted or was having trouble breathing.
The boys had a great summer. They saw their cousins, they went to camp, hung out with friends. And we ended it at a Red Sox Game. They lived their best lives eating snacks and playing video games on rainy days.
Now it's back to reality. I am excited for the fall (apple picking, farms with friends, B's birthday). Here's to more memories as a family that will last a lifetime. I am trying to take more pictures and more pictures with me in them so the kids will remember.
The boys went off to school happy, I went off to work a little sadder today. But I know they are in great hands. The school community is incredibly supportive. Their teachers are keeping an eye on the boys and making sure they are okay! Here's to a great school year!
