It’s the update you have all been waiting for…maybe not but here it is.
After a long weekend of waiting I and a long Monday I decided to email my oncologist. No sooner had i pressed send and I got an email that I had new tests results.
Honestly I never read it in full to start. I scroll to the end to find out what it says. Then I go back and see my unremarkable different parts of my body are. Lol
The good news is I don’t have any noticeable progression.
The not so good news is that I do have signs of pneumonia. Which explains why I have been feeling like crude lately. The exhaustion, the headache, the coughing, the trouble breathing. It all makes sense. I was told that radiation could cause pneumonia so it doesn’t surprise me.
Im thankful I have another three months of no progression scans. I’m thankful I am not showing signs of progression. It seems like the more I am on Facebook the more my lung cancer groups are grieving the loss of an advocate or supporting a friend with progression.
Somehow I have gotten off my normal cycle of scans together. So my next mri will be in 2 months (I think).
