Exhausted

It has been an exhausting week already. And it’s only Wednesday. But we are making memories with the kids. Today Baelor told us that it was the best day of his whole life. I reminded him that he has had a lot of best days of his life.  His response was this time it’s the truth.  Today everyone forgot that I have cancer or that I have trouble breathing, or I was wearing a heart monitor, or that in two short months I’ll be going for another scan, or that school is starting and summer is coming to end. Baelor did not forget to make his Christmas list, or that he was promised we could go in another ride.  Thank you Jackie Banana Foundation for allowing us to make these memories with boys. 

In general it’s been a busy couple of weeks. Cousins were up for a visit, my sister took us on a whale watch, there were comic book, and card stores that needed to be visited with cousins, sleep overs and video games. Next week our life returns a little bit back to normal. The kids are back at camp, school will be starting in a couple of weeks. I’ll miss the summer nights but I will be grateful to have a routine back in place.
