The things you don’t talk about…

I’ve been in the hospital for a little over a week today.  They need confirm I would pee and poop πŸ’©πŸ’© before it causes more problems.  I don’t πŸ’© on a regular basis.  So here comes the pressure to poop.  Morning, evening, night…it’s all over.  I am told if I don’t poop the pill comes……umm no thank you!  Not feeling it.  I don’t poop on command.   So here I am faced with the ultimate decision…

Jokes were made-instructions were given I was prepped.  I was begged one more time-give me one more chance. Riley (I’m pretty sure-but it’s a blur) talked me through this. And sure enough the deed was done.

I inquired about bells, nursery rhymes, banners, fireworks, something.  It was a huge accomplishment that I completed.

Next will be the list of things I accomplished during this hospital visit!  What I learned what I didn’t learn. What I would change what I wouldn’t change.  Stay tuned.

In the meantime-celebrate not popping on command, knowing your body and advocating for your body.
